Very friendly welcome and accompaniment on a small shaded terrace where we benefited from a daily menu with excellent value for money. We recommend the ham marinated with lemon and thyme as well as the butcher's piece, a tender flank steak with its creamy maroilles sauce, both generous and perfectly cooked accompanied by their homemade fries. A lot of attention from the team present with a smile and proximity. For a passing clientele or for locals like us, a small restaurant that is worth the detour...and to come back. We had lunch yesterday with colleagues at this restaurant, which is very welcoming; all the staff are friendly and cheerful. The outdoor setting is very pleasant, the terrace is well-maintained. The meal was exquisite; a true professional chef loves working with excellent produce, and it shows in the dish. The aumônière with mushrooms and rillauds was very good; we appreciated the true quality of the produce. The fish beurre blanc was excellent. The fries tasted like real fries from the North. The white wine (Layon) by the carafe and the red wine (St. Nicolas de Bourgueil) by the pitcher were well selected. Congratulations to the chef and his team, and thank you for the complimentary glass of wine offered by the owner when we paid for our meal. Thank you also for the chat that accompanied it, which allowed us to see the true pleasure the owner takes in his work. A true Northerner who loves sharing his taste for good things. We'll definitely return because we really enjoyed this restaurant and I'd happily recommend it to my friends. Congratulations on a wonderful time.
